Mr. Okanlawon Adelagun

Mr Adelagun is a versatile Insurer and well-experienced enterprise manager with a wide range of skills and proven track records cutting across international markets. Mr Adelagun joined the Board of Directors of Linkage Assurance as an Executive Director (Technical) in January 2019.
Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, he was the Principal Consultant of Okadel Consulting and also a Council member of the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), a body of professional and subject matter experts providing contemporary insights into critical business decisions including investment, business acquisition, strategic market overview, product development, complex strategic and operational challenges.

Mr Adelagun started his insurance career as a Personnel Officer with UNIC Insurance Plc, where he worked for 15 years in different capacities including Underwriting, Claims, Risk Management, Marketing, Project and Strategic Management and then moved on to Trust & Guarantee Insurance Company as the Head, Technical Operation.

After 5 years with Trust & Guarantee Insurance, he relocated to the UK in 2007 and worked for Travelers Insurance Company as Senior Underwriter in the Technology insurance unit (Tehchsure/CyberRisk Insurance) of the company, providing insurance products with a focus on IT and other related companies. Thereafter, Mr Adelagun joined IGI Insurance Plc in 2009 and served as Managing Director IGI Ghana up till November 2010.

After leaving IGI he worked for Union Assurance Plc (now Allianz Nigeria Insurance Plc) as Executive Director (Business Development)
